This Sri Maulalika’s disability organization coordinates and co-operates with the Government of Nepal, local bodies, tolls, clubs, various committees, governmental and non-governmental organizations, stakeholders, social workers, intellectuals, people from different professions and people with physical or mental disabilities in Nawalparasi district. Activities done by the organization in the past:
Since the establishment of the disability service organization of this Shri Maulakali, various disability special programs have been conducted for the education of the disabled. Since 1959, there have been six persons with disabilities running the ashram. The following is a brief overview of the programs operating in the past:
- This Maulakalika Disability Service Association, which was duly registered in the district administration on December 19, 1959, unanimously passed the proposal to run the ashram for the disabled by amending the constitution.
- On December 19, 1959, with the assistance of the National Disability Federation, Rs. Distributed four wheelchairs worth Rs. 1,949 (three lakh fifteen thousand).
- Starting on December 19, 1959, people with very weak economic conditions have started serving at a disabled shelter.
- On the occasion of the New Year, on December 19, 1989, the disabled ashram was formally inaugurated by the chief hospitality of Mayor of Kawasoti Municipality Chandra Kumari Pun, keeping four persons with disabilities.
- DUD is currently serving three persons with disabilities at a disabled shelter.
- Since December 19, 1959, with the help of Accra No. 1 Serra Gym Company, Physio Therapy has been providing and maintaining a cost of Rs.
- International Disability Day is celebrated on May 19, 1969 (December 7) in the chief hospitality of Mayor of Kawasoti Municipality Chandra Kumari Pun. She has also collaborated with local and international organizations in the field of local intellectuals, stakeholders, general and disabled services in the program.
- On December 19, 1959, disability co-operation was launched with the cooperation of various national and international organizations in collaboration with Kawasoti Municipality.
